Bon Accord Lions Club raises funds for GrAS

During 2019 Bon Accord Lions Club chose Grampian Autistic Society as one of its partner charities raising over £300 at a Quiz Night held in June, then the fantastic sum of £1200 at the St Andrew’s Day Afternoon Tea they organised for us at the end of November in The Park Café, Hazlehead Park, which is managed by an old friend of the Society, Pat Kennedy.

Around 50 people attended the tea ,and as well as buying raffle tickets, a sizeable sum was raised via a Silent Auction which contained items including a signed photograph of a highland loch, a hamper, a beautiful hand made evening bag and Clarins items.

Margaret Hodder, Vice Chair of GrAS was invited to the December meeting of the Bon Accord Lions to talk about the work of the Society and to collect the cheque from Connor Gray, President of Bon Accord Lions.

GrAS would like to thank the Lions fundraising group, led by Loraine Findlay, for their efforts on our behalf.
