GAS to welcome new staff, continues Community Engagement project

Grampian Autistic Society is delighted to update that on 2nd November 2020, we will be welcoming our newest member of staff, Megan Linklater (photo below). As Engagement Consultant, Megan will be responsible for our Community Engagement projects and initiatives as well as partnering with our stakeholders in ensuring that people living with and/or affected by autism are informed of and benefit from the services we provide.

Megan’s appointment follows the resignation of  Isabel Simon (predecessor) from her role effective 8th October 2020. Due to a change in personal circumstance, Isabel has joined our Marketing & Fundraising Subcommittee in the capacity of a Volunteer. We would like to wish Megan and Isabel all the very best in their new roles!

At least 1 in 100 people in Scotland are autistic – this means that an estimated 5,000 people in the Grampian region may be on the spectrum. GAS remains committed to reach out to and support individuals and families affected by autism. We are also working hard to grow our network of professionals, supporters, and partners to increase community engagement, participation, and collaboration. Whether your connection and/or interest in Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is personal and/or professional in nature, we are happy to welcome you to our growing community! Please feel free to subscribe to our Newsletter or sign up as a Member. Membership is voluntary and currently free.

GAS would like to thank Aberdeen Appointments Agency for helping us with Megan’s appointment.
