Over £4,000 Raised!

We had a wonderful afternoon tea fundraiser in February. Over 70 ladies gathered at Hazlehead Park Cafe for a pre-Valentine’s celebration. One of our star fundraisers, Pat Kennedy, worked really hard with her team to create a fabulous “Love is in the Air” theme. Our fundraising total has now been worked out – it came to over £4,000! This will enable us to go ahead with a refresh for our premises where we provide services for over 50 families, including Playscheme services during weekends and school holidays and Sibling Support Group sessions which run up to 6 times annually.

We have many people to thank for this success:

Strategic Decomm Limited, our main sponsor, provided plentiful supplies of prosecco as well as sponsoring a table.

The well-known artist Catriona Miller very generously donated one of her original works which was auctioned for a sizeable sum.

The Estée Lauder team from Boots Garthdee provided a fun opportunity to sample their latest beauty products and sign-up for a personal consultation with one of their professionals.

Sandy Davidson provided us with great entertainment, a medley of songs which made the afternoon go with a swing.

Our thanks go to our many supporters and local businesses who provided a fabulous range of “pamper” gifts and raffle prizes. They include:

• The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen • The Dutch Mill Hotel, Aberdeen • Just Gems, Cults • Boutique Beauty, Cults • Polish Nail and Beauty, Cults • Hair Society, Cults • Low and Co, Westhill • Sainsbury’s Local, Cults • Lloyds Pharmacy, Cults • Rowlands Pharmacy, Cults • Circles at Westhill

Please consider supporting them when you have the opportunity.

Our next fundraiser is already being planned – look out for details of our upcoming bake sale soon!
