Support Us

Your Donations make the Difference!

Autism & Neurodiversity - North Scotland is a local charity that relies on support from the wider community to continue our support for families affected by ASC. Individuals with ASC have complex needs and can have profound difficulties with social communication and interaction.

Donated funds enable us to offer and provide a welcoming and appropriate autism-friendly environment, a greater range of activities and outings, specialised play equipment, and resources that assist in the development of social communication and interaction skills and facilitate integration with the local community.

£10

can buy a small sensory toy such as Puffer Ball – a brightly coloured, soft, rubber ball which stimulates the senses and is ideal for children with Autism to play with.

£50

can buy a PECS folder (Picture Exchange Communication System) – an alternative communication intervention package for those with autism who have little or no communication ability, enabling them to communicate using pictures.

£200

can buy a sensory light projector with liquid mood wheels, creating a liquid mood projection of up to 13ft in diameter – ideal for sensory environments where the slowly changing shapes of liquid and colour are extremely calming enabling children and adults to relax without the need to concentrate.

£1000

can buy a sensory sound activated bubble tube which recognises defined noises made by the user to change its colour – encouraging children with autism to be engaged and active whilst remaining calm.

Giving Online

Individuals and organisations can make a regular or one-off financial contribution to GAS via our online fundraising pages. We are registered on JustGivingCrowdfunder and EasyFundraising.

Every single donation, no matter how big or small, really does make a difference to the lives of the people we support, with all the money contributing to the work of the charity.

If you are a UK taxpayer, we can also automatically claim an extra 25% in Gift Aid from the government on every donation at no extra cost to you. That means that a £10 donation can become £12.50. This makes an enormous difference so please make sure you tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK taxpayer.

Fundraising Online

JustGiving — AND is officially registered on JustGiving, an online fundraising platform, so you can easily raise money online. It’s a simple, quick and efficient way of fundraising so that your family and friends can sponsor you at any time from any place – which means you can spend less time collecting money and more time raising it! Crowdfunder — AND is also on Crowdfunder. We launched this during the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown to raise money to ensure that we can continue to provide services to families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire amid the pandemic. The current coronavirus situation is challenging for everyone, but especially for people who have ASC. The lack of routine and the ever changing requirements can be daunting. You can donate to our Crowdfunder by clicking this link.

EasyFundraising — Did you know you can shop and raise free donations for AND? You can do this by shopping online through our easyfundraising Official Page.
